Users are authenticated actors in Anchor. They can receive permissions that allow them to view resources, manage scopes, operate jobs, manage policy, or administer settings.

Permission intent

Anchor separates broad administration from day-to-day operation. View-only users can inspect permitted records without inheriting write or rotation authority.

Operational roles

Typical role shapes include viewer, operator, scope administrator, and global administrator. Permission review centers on scope ownership, operational duty, and whether the user needs standing authority.
