Scopes

Scopes are the organizing boundary for managed resources. They help separate teams, environments, applications, or infrastructure domains.

Prefer scopes that match operational responsibility. Examples include environment-based scopes such as production-linux, application scopes such as payments, or platform scopes such as database-operations.

Scope permissions allow teams to delegate resource management without granting global administration.

Scopes make review easier because resources, policies, users, and jobs can be filtered through a meaningful ownership boundary.
